Frequently Asked Questions

Laminate flooring is suitable for most areas of the home, particularly high traffic spaces such as hallways, living rooms and bedrooms, thanks to its durability and affordability. For areas with higher moisture levels, such as bathrooms, we would usually recommend alternative flooring options to help ensure better long term longevity.

Why Choose us for Laminate Flooring?
One person handles your job from measurement to finishing trims — consistent workmanship, direct communication and no middleman delays.
How It Works
1. On-site Survey & Quote
I visit your property to measure, check subfloor condition and advise on suitable laminate grade, underlay and trims, then provide a clear, itemised quote.
2. Subfloor Preparation
I level floors, remove old coverings where needed, fit moisture barrier and underlay, and repair dips or squeaks to create a stable base for the laminate.
3. Installation & Finishing
I fit the laminate as a floating floor, set correct expansion gaps, install thresholds and scotia trims, then tidy the site and walk you through care and maintenance.
